~ In memoriam ~
Bill enjoyed driving the back roads of Bavaria, Austria
and Switzerland with wife and best friend - Suzie. Bill was self employed and Suzie's vacation time was limited
but they still managed to somehow squeeze in a trip each year. Bill's travel motto was 'No Turn is a Wrong Turn' and felt
the adventure and thrill of true independent travel was a 'mindset' - dreamed of by many - open to all - but actually
experienced by few. Bill passed away in 2009 at his home in south Texas. He will be missed at the table...
Check out Bill's Backroads for lots of excellent travel tips. His old site is still up and
on auto pilot.
