Charlie (DrCBK) is a graduate of Heidelberg (MD) and a veteran of two tours in Germany with the US Army (Bad Canstatt - 5th Gen Hosp and Frankfurt - 97th Gen Hosp) for a total of over 12 yrs in Germany. He has many friends in Germany and is still reasonably fluent in his language skills. Charlie has been married to Mitsy (his major life support) for 40+ yrs and they have two grown children (one born in Heidelberg). Their favorite areas of Germany are Garmisch- Partenkirchen with the Rhein a close second. His favorite wines are the Mosels... and his favorite bier is Hoepfnerbräu (but says that Kulmbacher ain't bad). Charlie drives an 84 Mercedes '500 SEL' and an 87 Porsche '944' so you can see he is strongly German oriented. You're in good company now folks....
