(BillS) ...This is near Coburg -- and just off newly constructed autobahn A-73. Quiet, peaceful, and a good restaurant for dinner -- and good beer. Apparently it is a local favorite for dinner as it was usually well filled. Outdoor patio drew most of patrons. The rooms are not AC but spacious and well appointed. A recent query for November showed $54 per nite. We paid Euro 62 in June. No one spoke English there, in spite of being listed as multilingual -- they may have been but not English. Nonetheless, we got along fine and had a good room and good food. It's not in the center of anything, but there is a discount gas station 100 yards away with a convenience store. This is sort of like a Holiday Inn in the USA but the old style of architecture. I believe it is a chain. We used it to jump onto A-73 to Coburg and to Bamberg.
