(Gary) ...The Ferienwohnung (FeWo)(apartment), where we would spend the next eight days, was quite nice. Six rooms, three of which were bedrooms - TV, full kitchen, CD player,

patio with great view,

and a very nice couple as live-in owners (Erica and Walter Nagler).

We spent one evening visiting with them and snacking and drinking wine. They gave us advice on restaurants, showed their entire building to us, provided use of their computer, and took us for a walk on a nearby nature trail.

The total cost of the FeWo was €59/night without Frühstück. Some of the staples from the grocery store is always Aufschnitt (assortment of sliced wurst), Brötchen, fruit, milk, butter and maybe jogdhurt, so we had planned for the breakfasts anyway. We had plenty of Bier, Wein, cola light, milk, juice, and crystal lite which we had brought with us. It was a nice place to settle in and we were comfortable. No
packing, unpacking, driving, and getting lost for the next eight days.

It's only a few kilometers to the border with Austria and not far after that to Ehrwald, Lermoos, or Biberwier.
