Brand is a small town of only 650 inhabitants located in the Austrian Alps. It is located very near a ski resort, but I got the feeling it was more for people from the surrounding area than an international resort. The Panorama Haus is owned by the Bitschi family. It was wonderful. Roger had an apartment with a large double room, huge bath and combined kitchen/sitting room. He even had a private entrance to his apartment. I had a large double room and private bathroom. My room had beautiful painted furniture that is so often found in that part of Europe. For all that, we each paid approximately $23 a night, and of course, breakfast was included. They rent out 4 apartments and the double room which I had. Brand is so small, there are no street addresses, only house numbers. The Panorama Haus address is just simply "202".
