(BavariaBen) ...The Hoschbachhof is a large farm located just northeast of Heidelberg in the Mossau valley of the Odenwald. I have stayed here on two different occasions - the last being 2008. Enjoyed a very nice apartment (Fewo - Ferienwohnung) comprised of two sleeprooms (double rooms), a large living room area with satellite TV, a kitchenette with all necessary accessories, private bathroom and toilet, and a balcony with a nice view. This is a very well maintained farm and the Frau is especially nice.

One afternoon (on advice of Frau Weitzel) had dinner at the Gasthof of the local Schmucker brewery which is located just a few hundred meters from the farm (excellent meal with primo Bier).

While in the Odenwald - visited Michelstadt, Beerfelden, and Miltenberg. All well worth a visit. Miltenberg offers excellent photo ops...
