..Hotel Erika is located about ¾ of a mile from the bahnhof and 1 block off of the Fußgängerzone in Bad Reichenhall The building itself is about 100 years old and the hotel has been run by the same family since it was built. The reception area is located just inside the main doorway, about 8 steps above street level, situated on a very quiet street. There is free parking in the rear. The rooms are massive...the largest we had encountered in our stay. The breakfast area was large and breakfast was typical. We found the location in Bad Reichenhall to be suitable for taking the bus into Salzburg. The ride was about ½ hour. We also used this location as a base to see Berchtesgaden and the surrounding areas. For those people that feel comfortable having a reservation before they get to their next stop, I would recommend this hotel as a safe place to stay.
