Large hotel directly across the Drosselgasse from the Glockenspiel of the Rüdesheimer Schloss. Reasonably priced, especially off season and it's kind of fun to stay in one of the big wine barrels, especially if you have kids traveling with you! The bathrooms and showers in the wine barrel units are larger than in a lot of the hotels, zimmers and gasthauses we've stayed at! The beds are single bunks on each side of the barrel! The breakfast buffets at the Lindenwirt rival some of the best we've had in Germany. The Lindenwirt uses the 'Drosselgasse' as their address but the main entrance, lobby, large parking courtyard, etc. are located on the next street at Amselstrasse 4. Standard doubles start at Euro 70 off season and Euro 88 high season. The wine barrel rooms are Euro 52 off season and Euro 62 high season.
