(Chuck) ...I enjoy staying in this touristy little town and spend a lot of time at the outdoor cafes people watching. I stay at the Hotel zum Schiff
which is on the lake at the promenade and has its own boat for a run out to the Mainau island. Food is very good and the family that owns and runs the hotel are terrific. Rooms are modern and very clean.

(Ben) ...I stayed at the Schiff many years ago and remember sitting just outside the hotel on the promenade enjoying the view of the lake and all the tourists passing by. Glad to hear from Chuck that the quality of this uniquely situated hotel has not changed over the years.
