(Gary's comments from April 2005 trip) ...This turned out to be a super comfortable place with extraordinary amenities. The landlady checked me in, I paid in advance (€40/night), and I never saw her again. She left me a note on Friday that I should leave €3,00 for Brötchen which had been delivered every day and money for whatever I bought from her wine stash. There was a selection of 10 or so different Mosel wines in one of the cabinets ... sorta like the stocked frig you find in hotels. TV had CNN and CNBC.

Bathroom was male and female friendly.

Sleeping room

Washer and dryer were provided. I learned to use them quickly as they were very modern machines on which you basically just pushed buttons.

Outside views are from the patio and from the dining area window.

Sleich is a Mosel bump in the road. I did my grocery shopping and used restaurants in Mehring which was 5 km to the south. Trier is 20 km to the Southwest. I went there by bus. Luxembourg, of course, is just a little further.
