Pat (our reigning matriarch) and her husband of 46 years - 'Bud' (Dad). Pat's postings are much appreciated by everyone and her wonderfully detailed activity reports of their most recent trip to Germany are prime reading material for all of us. Pat and Dad have spent many years traveling the backroads of Germany and Pat's experience is very evident. She has two suspense novels to her credit and is working on two more. The central character is a middle-aged Army wife and tour escort in Germany in the late 70s. Gee - I wonder who that could be? :-) I recommend both of her books as excellent reading material, especially when sitting on a flower-decked Bavarian balcony overlooking a plush, green valley with bell clanging cows grazing in the meadow below. That's how I remember enjoying both of her adventures of Abby Singleton, wife of a US Army First Sgt, mother of two teenage daughters, and part-time tour escort for a US Army Rec Center in Germany. These novels are great reading for everyone, and especially for you old soldiers who have spent time stationed in Germany...
