(DrsMom) ..Our final stop on our trip of 3 weeks is Bacharach...we stay at Pension Lettie..my friend Queenan2 had stayed there in July and was pleased with it, and so were we!! Lettie's rooms are simple, she does a good breakfast, but most of all..she is so adorable. Lettie was an ER physician in the Philippines..moving to Germany with a part of the Armed Forces.. Lettie's husband passed away 8 years ago, needing to support herself totally, she had the option of going back to med school in order to practice in Germany..or do something less stressful..she chose the latter.. and has no regrets, as she meets people from all over the world..she knows everyone in town and can direct you to places to eat, shop, etc..no elevator..her rooms were $38 a night.
