(Larry) ...The "Rotbauernhof" is a wonderful old farm adjacent to the Rodelbahn and it's Biergarten, and right next to the Vogtsbauernhof Museum. The Wöhrle family couldn't be nicer. They go out of their way to insure their guests want for nothing. And they lay out a mean breakfast table. I had a large DZ with TV, balcony, and facilities, for only €16 per night (2008). This place makes an excellent base camp because of it's central Black Forest location. Triberg is 10 minutes away by car, and with the "KONUS Gastekarte" you have free, unlimited use, of the buses and trains. I have stayed at several farms in the Gutach area, but this one tops the list, and will remain my primary choice on future trips....
