Sam

Sam was born in Wilhelmshaven, Germany by the North Sea and lived for many years in Holland before arriving in the US as a teenager. She grew up in Boston and New York and is currently a Texan living in the north/central Texas area. Sam has returned to Germany on several occasions rediscovering her roots. She has relatives in Ratingen (near Düsseldorf). A seasoned flight attendant on one of the major airlines - she naturally loves to travel - and she has many more trips back to Germany in her future.

One of Sam's favorite places to stay in Germany is the Urban Hof farm in Wonneberg/Weibhausen - between Chiemsee and Salzburg. She also has nice words to say about the Gasthaus goldener Greifen in Rothenburg o.d.T., the Gasthof Linde in Gutach (Schwarzwald), and the Im Malerwinkel in Bacharach.
