What a find! Terrific hotel, located about 2 blocks from the Rodertor and 4 blocks from the Marktplatz. Easy access in and out of the city. Rooms were typical, but very roomy and comfortable. Parking area available. Nice little courtyard, where one can relax with a Bier or other light refreshment. Breakfast is additional, but we found a terrific price on Expedia, which made breakfast a bargain. The young staff spoke perfect English and were extremely friendly. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Our traveling companions, Paul and Patricia, especially liked this hotel, which reeks of history. It was Hitler's hotel of choice, while staying in Nuremberg. Their room was very comfortable and they raved about the breakfast. The location is superb...right across the street from the Altstadt and about 4 blocks from the Hauptbahnhof.

A great hotel in Nuremberg! Extremely accommodating and informative staff. Our room was terrific with all modern amenities, including thermostat controlled air-conditioning. Very centrally located and only a few blocks from the Hauptbahnhof. Parking garage under hotel for a minimum fee. A modern hotel offering old world charm and comfort. Rate of 73€ through HRS.de. Breakfast an additional 14€.

This old bishop's residence is a terrific choice in Regensburg. Situated right behind the cathedral and about 2 blocks from the Danube, the hotel is partially built into the old Roman wall of the city. As the pictures will attest to, this hotel is beautifully appointed. Our room was huge with wooden floors, antique furniture and sitting area, as well as a wonderful, modern bathroom. The breakfast was bountiful and extremely good. The greatest feature of this property is the tranquil garden area, in front of the main entrance. A whimsical water fountain, depicting a jolly bishop and his gaggle of geese, is the centerpiece of this lovely Biergarten. The Biergarten gets very busy during the dinner hours and no wonder... the food is outstanding! A large menu, consisting of a wide variety of culinary options is offered and the service is impeccable. If you don't stay here, while in Regensburg, try to make it for dinner! Price for our double room was 119€, including full breakfast buffet, booked directly with the hotel.

Paul and Patricia were extremely pleased with this hotel choice in Regensburg. Surrounded by numerous shops and bistros, the hotel is located about 3 blocks from the cathedral. They said the staff was especially helpful and the rooms were great. Paul enjoyed the breakfast here, but Patricia only had coffee. Rate of 77€, including breakfast, through HRS.de.

A modern, sleek hotel located 1½ blocks from the Hauptbahnhof in Munich. Great for daytripping. Rooms were very modern with central air-conditioning. Walk to the Marienplatz in about 10 minutes or take a taxi for about 5€. Lovely public areas and great, full service bar. All modern conveniences and a terrific staff! Didn't eat breakfast here, so can't comment. While some say the area, near the Hauptbahnhof, is rather "seedy", we felt quite comfortable and safe walking the area at all hours. If you can get a good rate and want air-conditioning, plus a hotel convenient to the train station, this is a nice choice. Rate of 70€ including breakfast.
