(Karen) ...We had a reservation for a room for four, but when we arrived they were able to give us a private apartment with two separate sleeping areas and a very large and and comfortable sitting area -- at the same price. It was very nice and clean, and our window looked out into the cobblestone streets of Füssen. The hotel restaurant was very nice and they served an excellent variety of foods, with fresh fish as their specialty. Breakfast, too, was wonderful. The woman who helped us when we arrived, I believe she was one of the owners, was so accommodating and helpful! She was very, very attentive and kind. I can't say enough about the Altstadt Hotel. We really had a great experience there and I would have liked to have spent more time in Füssen.
